Proteins beyond enzymes​
Bota is growing Camino into the area of discovering and optimizing non-enzymatic proteins, which presents significant potential for advancements in food and nutrition. While many principles overlap with enzyme research, testing and characterization of non-enzymatic proteins requires distinct approaches. This includes proteins that contribute to texture in foods, among others. By exploring the unique properties of these proteins, we aim to enhance their functionality and nutritional benefits. We are currently seeking collaborations with customers interested in delving into this emerging field and exploring new possibilities for application in their products.
